Lithuanian Vodka Chilled Cocktails

Task & situation

Once a very popular and sexy category, the light cocktail segment is now declining. It’s perceived as dated and not in line with worldwide trends. Premium is the only active segment in the category, and it’s represented by well-known international brands.

The client wants to strengthen the Lithuanian Vodka brand by attracting younger audiences which don’t really care about pure vodka. The aim is to revitalise the category in Lithuania, launching a product in the busy premium segment.

Create three label designs for separate Chilled flavours, giving the brand a youthful modern feel. There’s no need to get overly traditional, however the brand’s long-lived graphic character has to be preserved. The product is expected to have a premium, high quality look.

Solutions

A see-through label communicates light taste and alcohol content of the cocktails. On the shelf, the tastes are distinguished by different colours. From a closer glance, every taste is accentuated by original patterns – modern interpretations of national designs and further development of the Lithuanian Vodka graphic identity. A premium look is achieved by subtle means of design (patterns, layout) and production (silkscreen, foil and tactile UV varnish).
